The park is near Kampala and it is a 3 hours drive. The Banyankole people are indigenous and continued to herd their livestock in the region until 1983. Lake Mburo comprises valleys, swamps, acacia trees, and varying grasslands.

You can easily spot the brown-chested Aletha, yellow-spotted nicator, Abyssinian ground thrush, African pitta, little greenbul, blue-breasted kingfisher, yellow-rumped tinkerbird, and crowned eagle.

DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrive

Arrive at Entebbe Airport early in the morning. You can have a city excursion then a driver will transfer you to the hotel for relaxation and rest.
Day 2: Lake Mburo

Your guide will transfer you to Lake Mburo. You will stop by the equator and take this chance to capture the moment and water experience. On arrival, go for a game drive. You will spot zebras, elands, waterbucks, Cape buffalo, and antelopes. This superb destination has deviant scenery, tranquilized terraced hills, rich wetlands, open grassland basins, and woodlands blended with brushwood.
Day 3: Queen Elizabeth National Park

After your morning game safari, a driver will transfer you to Queen Elizabeth, NP. The place has unique attractions. You will have a vivid view of the rift valley region. Admire rich diversity and go for an afternoon game drive seeking the lion, waterbucks, buffalos, Uganda kobs, leopards, elephants, hippos, and chimps.

While still in Queen Elizabeth, you will visit the popular Kazinga Channel. It is a spot you should take advantage of on your Ugandan safari. Watch the awe-inspiring sights of the Splendid plains, rolling hills, and magnificent wildlife. You will enjoy a grand boat ride on the Kazinga Channel in the afternoon. Spot the Nile crocodile and huge hippos on the water stream. At the river banks, you will see beautiful flocks of birds like the saddle-billed stork, shoebill, Kingfishers, and pelicans.
Day 5: Kibale Forest National Park

Your driver will take you around the spectacular green terrains and tea plantations. Visit the villages and interact with the friendly locals. You will arrive at Kibale after 3 hours. On arrival, you will spot a variety of birds. The following day, be ready for Chimpanzee trekking. Kibale is an idyllic location to watch the primates. There are around 13 species. It is the only place with many monkeys; Chimps, Grey-cheeked mangabey, the incredible Red Columbus, and the white and black Columbus. It is a rewarding 3 to 4 hours walk of seeking the gorillas. You have an hour to study and observe the primates. Later you will trek down the tropical rainforest back to your accommodation.
Day 6: Kampala

After breakfast, a driver will transfer you to Kampala to catch your home flight. Stop by the market for some souvenirs. This marks the end of your 6 Days Uganda Gorilla and Wildlife safari.
