Your safari starts in Kenya’s Amboseli National Park. It covers an area of approximately 392 square kilometers. This is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and various bird species. The Maasai people have lived in the area for centuries and still practice traditional livestock herding. At Observation Hill, there is a magnificent view of the landscape.
Next, you could visit the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, known for its expansive grasslands and abundant wildlife, including the Big 5 and a large wildebeest population. You might also visit the dry and salty Lake Natron, home to flamingos and other waterbirds. If you are interested in birdwatching, the best time to visit is during the rainy season, from November to May. When your main purpose is to observe the predators, such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, the best time to visit is from December to May.
Lake Manyara National Park is a stunning and diverse destination in the Arusha region of Tanzania. The Ngorongoro Crater is a popular destination; it can get crowded later in the day. To avoid the crowds and to give you the best safari experience, plan to arrive at the crater early in the morning. DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrive at Nairobi

Sumpton Safari Adventure member will pick you up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. They will drive you to Kenya’s bustling capital city, giving you an exhilarating tour. Your city excursion will begin with a visit to some of Nairobi's most iconic landmarks and attractions. You'll see the city's famous elephant orphanage, where young elephants are rescued, rehabilitated, and eventually released back into the wild. You'll also visit the National Museum, where you can learn about the country's rich history and culture. Then head to the Giraffe Center for a close view of the adorable creatures. A driver will then drop you at your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Nairobi to Amboseli

On Day 2 of your safari adventure, you'll leave the city behind and drive from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park. This exciting drive will take you through some of Kenya's most breathtaking landscapes, including rolling hills, dense forests, and open savannahs. As you drive, you'll want to watch for some of the amazing wildlife that calls this region home. You might see zebras, gazelles, and other mammals grazing on the grasslands or spot a herd of elephants or a pack of wild dogs as they roam through the bush. When you finally arrive at Amboseli National Park, you'll be greeted by breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. The park is home to several amazing animals, including elephants, lions, leopards, and various birds. You'll have the chance to go on game drives and see these animals up close, as well as visit local Maasai villages to learn about their culture and way of life.

On Day 3 of your safari adventure, you'll have the opportunity to fully explore Amboseli National Park and all that it has to offer. As you wake up to the sounds of the African bush, you'll have the chance to go on an early morning game drive, where you'll see the park's amazing animals as they begin their day.
As the sun rises, you'll head back to your lodge or camp for breakfast and a chance to rest. After a leisurely morning, you'll embark on another game drive, focusing on the park's amazing birdlife and visiting some of the local Maasai villages. You'll learn about their way of life and see their traditional homes and livestock.
In the afternoon, you'll have the chance to take a guided walk through the park, learning about the different plants and animals that call it home. You'll also have the opportunity to visit a nearby swamp, where you'll see a variety of waterbirds and possibly even spot some crocodiles basking in the sun.
As the evening approaches, you'll head back to your lodge or camp for dinner and a chance to relax. You might sit around a campfire and listen to the sounds of the bush or watch the sunset from the comfort of your balcony.

In addition to its big cats, Lake Manyara National Park is also a paradise for bird watchers. The park is home to over 400 species of birds, including flamingos, pelicans, and storks. You will journey through to the destination viewing the mindblowing sceneries.

Enjoy your drive while watching the breathtaking view of the tea, coffee, and banana plantation. Observe the utterly verdant hills everywhere you look. In the afternoon, you might have some time to relax and unwind in Kinigi before dinner. Depending on your interests and energy level, you might want to explore the town or visit nearby attractions

The gorillas in Volcanoes National Park are accustomed to human presence, but they are still wild animals and should be treated with respect. Day 14: Depart
