Nairobi - Amboseli

Once you land, a Sumpton Safaris member will warmly welcome you, then head to Amboseli National Park. Enjoy lunch, a brief check-in at your residential lodge, and an afternoon game drive. Head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight rest.

Amboseli Game Reserve

The day holds a chance to explore the hidden treasures in Amboseli. First, wake up to an early game drive heading out to sites adjacent to Mount Kilimanjaro for the best views. During the drive, look out for nocturnal animals, the largest herds of elephants amongst other wildlife animals. The drive precedes a retreat to the lodge for breakfast before heading back to the wild for an afternoon game drive. Enjoy the sunset and coverage of animals such as lions, rhinos, cheetahs, and flamingoes on water pawns and other birdlife, not to mention rare species such as Aardvark.

After the afternoon game drive, head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight rest.

Ol Pejeta Conservancy

After rising to some tantalizing breakfast at your desired culinary hotels, head for a long drive to Mount Kenya Region. On your way, make room for a stopover at the equator for some photos, not to forget the beautiful sight of Mount Kenya from the road. Crisscross the Kikuyu highlands with your picnic lunch on your way to Sweetwaters Game Sanctuary.

Your arrival is expected to be in time for an afternoon drive after check-in at one of the deluxe lodges. Watch the chimps at Ol Pejeta Conservancy.

Ol Pejeta Conservancy

The day will kick off with traditional cuisines, snacks, and top-tier delicacies for breakfast. Pack a picnic lunch and set out for a full-day excursion around the Conservancy. Enthrall and engulf yourself with bliss as you participate in morning and afternoon game drives. The site is the only chimpanzee sanctuary in the country; thus, take time around the pristine creatures. Later, head back to your lodge for dinner and a nighttime snooze.

Lake Naivasha

Enjoy your morning breakfast before breaking camp for Lake Naivasha. Arrive at Naivasha in the afternoon for lunch and check in at your designated camp lodge, hotel, or resort. Afterward, enjoy a boat ride deep into the lake, allowing you to tour Crescent Island, home to abundant wildlife. You can freely walk around. Afterwards, head back to your lodge for some seafood dinner and fine drinks before retiring.

Maasai Mara National Reserve

Enjoy your morning breakfast before commencing your journey to Maasai Mara. During this long drive, enjoy the pleasantly fascinating landscapes, such as the Rift Valley Escarpment stopover. Your arrival is bound to be on schedule for lunch, check-in, and an afternoon drive around Maasai Mara. During the drive, begin your endless exploration of an infinite number of wildlife animals and a vast array of birdlife, and even catch a glimpse of the setting sun from the dusty Mara Plains.

After this afternoon, drive back to your hotel or lodge for dinner and an overnight snooze. However, for social purposes, you may opt to be a part of the guests who set up campfires and have dinner underneath the streaky starry sky.

Masai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast, your whole day will see you pay homage to the Mara River during a morning drive. Make sure to take shots of the river bank action-filled migration of thousands of wildebeests, zebras, Topis, Thomson gazelles, impalas, and other vulnerable animals trying to find their way across to Serengeti. Carry with you packed lunch before exploration into the deep wild to spot the big five, cheetahs, birdlife, and other animals.

After the drives, head back to your lodge for dinner and a night’s rest.

Nairobi

Enjoy your last breakfast play at Mara before leaving for Nairobi. Take a lunch stop at Carnivore or one of Nairobi's five-star hotels before adjourning to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your return home.
